About Me

I started at Bellin Fitness as a Licensed Athletic Trainer (LAT), working with athletes in our local high schools, but moved into fitness because I wanted to implement movement science in the field of fitness. I initially got into this industry because I wanted the challenge of helping people achieve their goals in fitness.  I like teaching people how to function optimally through the science of movement, which is my passion. I love having the opportunity to work with our staff to mentor their growth in the movement science field so they are able to carry on their new knowledge to their clients.

What makes our trainers different from other places is we know that more isn’t better; better is better.  Movement Science is the tool we use to help people move better and reduce or prevent injury. The more we actively engage in becoming fit, the longer our bodies will continue to allow us to function optimally.

When we work with our members, we ask a lot of questions.  We want to find out what they want, where are their limits, what are their goals, so we can guide them to the best next steps.

My fitness philosophy is you have to live fitness to teach fitness.  Set the example.  Lead by example.  I love to workout and be competitive.  My personal passion for fitness comes from wanting to do my workouts when I’m 100 and to be able to continue to do what I love: fish, hunt and working on old cars!
