About Me

Athletics have always been a part of my life, from growing up on a ball field, playing basketball in college and coaching various sports, including my daughter’s basketball team and my favorite program, Little Dribblers. Being part of Bellin Fitness and the personal training team has been a natural continuation of my interest in how the body moves and working with people to improve their overall wellbeing.

One of the joys of personal training is getting to meet our members wherever they are on their journey and guiding them on their next steps. My day to day work involves a variety of different skills. As trainers, we do things like help people gain strength and endurance after surgery, learn corrective exercises to address movement patterns that may be causing issues, use exercise to help manage their symptoms from cancer treatment, assist with weight issues, and get back to exercise after a cardiac incident, to name just a few. One of my passions is teaching people how to use exercise to aid their mental health.

In my real life I am a wife and mother to four children between the ages of 21 and 12 years old (three boys and a vacation later, a little girl!).  I love teaching Move and Groove, lifting weights, golfing and walking or hiking.  Our family vacations involve Major League Baseball games and National Parks.  I love traveling, especially to tropical locations. I am blessed to have 9 amazing women as friends in my life from grade school and high school and every minute I get to spend with them makes my heart smile.  I love what I get to do here with our members/clients at Bellin Fitness and I enjoy getting to work with the phenomenal staff here too!
