I started off my Bellin career as an intern for Bellin’s Movement Performance Lab that is now located within Bellin’s Titletown location. After my internship, I was hired on as a full-time personal trainer.
I believe in meeting people where they are at. There is definitely a stigma surrounding personal training where one may think they’re not athletic or good enough. I work with a lot of our aging population. I frequently get the opportunity to work with post-surgical patients, such as full hip and knee. This allows me to really expand on my expertise in those areas and allows me to focus on the area I love most, functional fitness.
When I take a client on, it is all about knowing their limits, having that open communication, and meeting them where they are at and progressing from there. My goal is for you to be able to move better, feel better, and be in less pain or discomfort. What is extremely rewarding to me is helping people overcome barriers, no matter how big or small; that in the end allows them to get out in their garden more and be able to go on a bike ride.
