Make Exercise a Way of Life

Meet John Kabele! John (70) is married to his wife Karen and they have one son, Andrew, who they are very proud of.  John has been a Bellin Health Fitness member for over 11 years.  He is one of the hardest working and most dedicated members we have.

John didn’t really need motivation to get started. He has always considered working out as a way of life. He makes it a priority and feels lost when he doesn’t have some physical activity in his daily routine.  His goals are to maintain his strength, improve flexibility, keep his aerobic level and control his weight.

Until recently, John has felt blessed over the years that he never had any serious illness or injury. However, since September 2016, he has had to have both hips replaced as well as hernia surgery. In spite of these obstacles, he has been able to reach and maintain his goals.

When asked, how did Bellin Health Fitness help you? John stated, “It is a great place to workout. There is always someone around to answer questions or give advice.  Besides the past two surgeries. John’s life hasn’t changed that much.  Exercise still exists as a big part of his daily life.

John’s advice to others is, “Find something you like to do. Enjoy working out instead of it being a chore.  It is all attitude.”
